ADEV SERVICES LIMITED delivers professional cleaning services and is looking for a Cleaner to join our team in the Auckland region. We’re looking for someone reliable and detail- oriented who takes pride in upholding high standards, can work independently, manage their time effectively, and handle flexible schedules.
Successful candidates must be flexible and willing to travel to various work sites across Auckland. We will cover all travel-related expenses between work locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empty bins, trays, and recycling stations; remove rubbish and sort recyclables per site guidelines.
- Use commercial vacuums and floor equipment to clean offices, corridors, and production areas.
- Dust and wipe ceilings, walls, high surfaces, and fixtures; remove buildup from overhead pipes.
- Treat marks and stains with approved chemicals, following ADEV safety and handling procedures.
- Strip, re-wax, and polish hard floors to specification; spot-clean carpets as required.
- Complete routine inspections, record tasks, and maintain accurate cleaning logs.
- Tackle periodic deep cleans and special projects to meet client service levels.
- Report faults, damage, or hazards promptly; escalate repair needs to the supervisor.
- Perform minor adjustments and basic equipment upkeep to keep tools in good working order.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and wet areas; note any plumbing issues or defects.
- Remove residues from plant/machinery where applicable, following lock-out and safety protocols.
- Support exterior cleans (including pressure or abrasive cleaning where trained) as scheduled.
- Monitor and restock consumables and cleaning supplies; keep storage areas tidy and compliant.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $28 per hour.
