This full-time position is ideal for experienced welding professionals capable of performing complex fabrication, installation, and repair work across light and heavy metal structures. Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding using electric, acetylene, inert gas-shielded, brazing, tack, flame cutting, pressure welding, and heat-treating processes
- Interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical drawings for fabrication and repair of metal structures
- Lay out and fabricate angles, arcs, and circles using welding mathematics and measurements
- Install and adjust lines and ductwork to support HVAC/R systems
- Execute multiple joint types in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions on light and heavy structures
- Perform precision welding on jigs, dies, and engineering equipment
- Follow all safety regulations in compliance with V2X, OSHA, and U.S. Air Force standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Participate in and complete required training programs and documentation
- Safeguard all government- and contractor-provided tools, equipment, and facilities
- Accurately complete company time reporting and timesheets
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet contractual and mission requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman certification through a recognized apprenticeship program, state certification, contractor’s license, ICC certification, or documented military journeyman-level experience
- Valid U.S. Passport and U.S. Driver’s License (manual transmission required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license and flight line access badge upon deployment
- Successful completion of employment and deployment qualifications, including medical, psychological, dental, drug testing, and background checks
- Successful completion of hands-on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) defense training, including protective gear fit testing
