About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipe Fabricator to join our Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in pipe spool fabrication, interpretation of isometric drawings, and compliance with ASME/API standards. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and experience in refinery, petrochemical, or offshore projects. Preference will be given to candidates with Qatar market experience who are locally available and ready for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Cut, bevel, bend, and shape pipes according to project requirements
  • Assemble pipe spools and components including flanges, tees, reducers, and fittings
  • Perform accurate fit-up activities prior to welding
  • Conduct hydrostatic testing to ensure system integrity
  • Ensure compliance with ASME/API standards and project quality requirements
  • Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials
  • Coordinate effectively with welders, engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC teams
  • Follow strict HSE and safety procedures at all times
  • Support both fabrication yard activities and on-site installation when required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in pipe fabrication
  • Experience in Qatar oil & gas projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ASME & API codes and standards
  • Proven experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, or offshore projects
  • Proficiency in cutting, beveling, bending machines, and measuring tools
  • Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
  • High attention to detail and precision in fabrication work
  • Good understanding of oil & gas safety standards and HSE practices
  • Physically fit to work in yard and site conditions
