An orchard cleaning worker is needed in the Waikato to maintain cleanliness in farm areas. Duties include cleaning orchard walkways, equipment, bins, storage areas, and staff facilities, as well as collecting and disposing of waste while following farm hygiene and safety rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning orchard areas, including walkways, storage sheds, and workstations.
  • Collecting and disposing of rubbish from bins and designated waste areas.
  • Cleaning and washing equipment, bins, trays, and tools used in orchard work.
  • Cleaning staff facilities such as lunchrooms, toilets, and portable units.
  • Maintaining cleanliness around packing, loading, and storage areas.
  • Following farm hygiene standards and workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform manual cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing, and lifting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to work flexible hours during busy orchard periods.

Work Location:
Orchards and farms in the Waikato region, New Zealand.

Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
