Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up parcels, messages, and products in a timely manner
- Operate automobiles, vans, and light trucks safely and responsibly
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Receive and relay delivery information to central dispatch
- Sell and distribute products along established routes
- Prepare, package, restock, and sort goods for delivery
- Follow delivery instructions, routes, and maps accurately
- Use maps and trip-planning tools to optimize delivery routes
- Record trip details including mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle issues
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure safe handling of packages for events, conferences, and assemblies
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
- 7 months to less than 1 year of delivery driving experience
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 2, B, or C)
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Ability to work flexible shifts (morning, day, evening, early morning)
- Physically fit to perform delivery duties under tight deadlines
- Ownership of a cellular phone
