Responsibilities
- Lead and manage functional and detailed design for municipal and land development projects
- Oversee projects involving utilities, roadworks, site servicing, and stormwater management
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including junior staff and sub-consultants
- Liaise with municipal agencies, utility providers, and government approval authorities
Learning & Development
- Commit to continuous professional development and technical learning
- Support career growth of junior staff through mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance
- Participate in professional associations and industry committees
Business Development
- Identify and contribute to new business opportunities
- Maintain and grow client relationships
- Support proposal and statement of qualification preparation
- Travel to other Dillon offices as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba or eligible within six months
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure standards and environmental approvals
- Ability to meet Dillon’s Health & Safety expectations

- Municipal infrastructure design (water, wastewater, roads, stormwater, site servicing)
- Project and contract management (MMCD, CCDC contracts)
- Waste management and trenchless technologies (asset)
- Business development and client relationship management
- Strong proposal writing, reporting, and presentation skills
