Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of electrical power systems and instrumentation equipment within the production facility. The role ensures reliable equipment performance, safe power distribution, and accurate process control to support uninterrupted production operations while strictly adhering to safety and operational standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and upkeep of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including thermometers, flowmeters, sensors, relays, and related devices.
- Carry out switching operations during voltage trips or power interruptions to ensure timely and safe power restoration.
- Conduct daily inspections of electrical and instrument systems in accordance with operational requirements.
- Develop and execute maintenance activities based on equipment manuals, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures.
- Identify equipment defects, record technical issues, and propose corrective or improvement actions.
- Troubleshoot and repair power supply, power distribution, motors, and instrumentation equipment to ensure stable production operations.
- Collect and maintain technical data, assisting in the establishment and updating of equipment records, logs, and technical files.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, operational procedures, and company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by department leadership.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Technical Secondary School or above.
- Major in Electrical Power, Instrumentation, or related technical disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Certifications & Training
- Valid Electrician Certificate is required.
